San Mateo County midcoast north of the City of Half Moon Bay including; Miramar, El
Granada, Princeton By The Sea, Moss Beach, and Montara. Zoning for areas south of Half
Moon Bay is also covered by these documents; La Honda, Pescadero, Loma Mar, Skyline,
Woodside, Skylonda, San Gregorio. These regulations are subject to change by Supervisors
or Planning Division at any time and should be verified with County Planning Officials.
The County has been working on the LCP (Local Coastal Program) update for several years
and is nearing the end of the process of making changes. All this information and more is
available at the San Mateo County Website. This information is believed to be current, but it changes all the time. We want this to be a good place to easily start gathering information, but San Mateo County and the City of Half Moon Bay are the authorities and should be consulted regarding the latest regulations and policies.
