Jim is married to Carole Delmar and co-owns
Del Mar Properties. Born in California and a graduate of
U.C. Berkeley, Jim has resided on the Coastside since 1989,
living in Princeton, Pescadero, Loma Mar, and with Carole in
El Granada for the last thirteen years.
Prior to entering the real estate business,
Jim spent over twenty years as a General Building and
Engineering Contractor. His projects included residential
and commercial construction, remodeling, design and
development. He is well grounded in building and planning
regulations and often helps clients with permit
facilitation.
He recently designed and constructed a total
renovation and addition to his and Carole’s home in El
Granada. His breadth of experience and creativity have
helped to make him an effective real estate problem-solver
for the last thirteen years.
Jim’s other interests include hiking,
horseback riding, sailing, ceramics and art. A former
member of a rock and roll band (guitar and vocals), Jim is
custom building an archtop jazz guitar, and has rekindled
his childhood passion for playing the trumpet.
